COVID-19 Safety

Special care inside the classroom is taken to ensure regular cleaning and disinfecting is taking place. The staff stay an additional 15 minutes at the end of the day once all children have left the building to do a final disinfection of their classroom. There is also after hours cleaning support that cleans and sanitizes the entire building before re-opening each day.

Each room does daily laundering of soft items and bedding, completes daily cleaning checklists and maintains a clean and organized classroom.

Handwashing with soap and water is best and always has been! Children engage in fun songs and interactions with their teachers to create a positive experience while keeping up their hygiene.

Upon entering the building, all staff and children must complete a health screening survey, as well as have a temperature check. Staff and children then have their temperatures checked twice more at 11am and 3pm.

Symptoms are monitored throughout the day and communicated with families. Any child experiencing multiple symptoms must follow our illness policy guidelines.

Transparency is important to us at Tiny Giants. Systems are put in place to ensure constant, open communication with our families. Policies and procedures are regularly updated to meet the most up to date guidelines of the city and state, as well as meet our expectations for ample safety for our staff and families.
